How to learn इतालवी
a beginner guide for English speakers

Why इतालवी is hard for English speakers
- दोहरे व्यंजन अर्थ बदल देते हैं: पेना (दुःख) बनाम पेन्ना (कलम); सेटे (प्यास) बनाम सेत्ते (सात)। आपको अंतर सुनना और उच्चारण करना होगा।
- लिंग-विशिष्ट संज्ञाएँ जिनके साथ विशेषण भी लिंग के अनुसार होते हैं।

इतालवी grammar pitfalls to watch for
passato prossimo vs imperfetto
पासैटो प्रॉसिमो पूर्ण की गई क्रियाओं के लिए (हो मांजातो — मैंने खाया); इम्परफेटो चल रही या आदतन भूतकाल के लिए (मांजावो — मैं खा रहा था, मैं खाया करता था)। गलत चुनने से कहानी बदल जाती है।
